Define Authority
Explanation
This activity is used to enter the different 
airworthiness authorities that will be valid for use when generating an aviation part 
certificate. A part certification form which is issued by a maintenance 
organization certifies that the maintenance has been performed under this 
airworthiness authority regulation. Note that each authority can issue several 
approvals to a given maintenance organization/site for different purposes.
Prerequisites
To perform this activity, valid country codes must have been defined.
System Effects
  - Valid authorities will be defined.
-  The basic data for part certificates is predefined and
ready to be used when creating aviation part certificates for work 
	orders/maintenance orders.

Procedure
	- Open the Part Certificate Basic Data 
	window.
- Click the Authority tab and create a 
	new record (F5).
- In the Authority ID  and Description fields,
    enter a suitable authority ID and description for your part certificate.
- In the Country Code field, enter the 
	required country code. Use the List of Values to select a valid value.
- Save the information (F12).
