Release Disposition Shop Order Line - Component MRO
Explanation
This activity is used to release a disposition shop order
line. The release of a disposition shop order line indicates that the disposition process
is completed. This means that all disposition operations have been performed for the parts
recorded and identified for the disposition line.
Once the line is released, you
can continue the repair process by recording discrepancies detected during the
disposition process and selecting the appropriate repair codes for
the elimination of the discrepancies. At release, the parts will be received into inventory and reserved for approval, i.e., the
parts will be reserved in inventory and the reservation will be inherited by
either the MRO shop order or the external service order created for the
executing the repair.
A released disposition shop order line can be reversed by un-releasing.

affected component parts in work scope will be deleted. If the the
scrapped material is an affected part for a modification, it will be deleted

- The task in IFS/Vehicle Information Management is canceled.
