View and Modify Reporting and Accounting Period Connections

Explanation

This activity is used to view existing connections between the reporting periods and accounting periods of a selected company and to do any modifications if required.

Prerequisites

In order to perform this activity:

• The company for which you want to view reporting and accounting period connections should be connected to the required BI reporting period definition.
• The reporting periods should be mapped with the accounting periods of the company.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the modifications made will be subsequently applied when you use the reporting periods for reporting purposes.

Procedure

To view and modify reporting and accounting period connections:

1. Open the BI Reporting/Accounting Period Connections window and search for the reporting period definition and the connected company for which you want to perform this activity. All the reporting periods and the connected accounting periods will be displayed in the table.
2. If you want to modify a reporting and accounting period record, select the record and duplicate it.
3. Make the required modifications to the relevant fields.
4. Save the information.
