Add Customer Warranty Type
Explanation
Use this activity to add customer warranty types to a customer warranty line. 
To create a customer warranty type, you can either use a predefined warranty type 
template or you can create one manually. Several warranty types can be connected 
to an object.
Prerequisites
	- If you are using a template, the customer warranty type template should 
	be defined in 
	Customer Warranty 
	Type Template.
- Warranty conditions should be defined in
	Warranty Conditions.
System Effects
As a result of this activity, customer warranty types are connected to the customer 
warranty line of the object.

Procedure
	- Open the Functional 
	Object or Serial 
	Object window and click the 
	Warranty tab.
- Click on the second table (lower part of the window) and create a new customer 
	warranty line (F5) or select an existing record.
- Right-click, point to Customer Warranty and click Create/Edit. 
	The Customer Warranty 
	dialog box appears.
- Use one of the following methods to add a warranty type: 
	
		- Click New to create a new warranty type or
- Click Template to use a predefined warranty type template.
	- Select one or more of the following check boxes: Material, Expenses, 
	Fixed Price, Personal, or External.
- Click OK. Once the customer warranty type is connected to the customer 
	warranty line the Customer Warranty check box on the 
	Warranty tab will 
	be selected.
