Enter Address Information
Explanation
Use this activity to enter address information on an equipment object. You can 
enter one or several addresses for each object.

Register Address for Objects
Procedure
	- Open the Functional 
	Object or Serial 
	Object windows and create a new record (F5) or query for an existing 
	one (F3). 
- Right-click and click Address for Objects. The 
	Register Address for Object window appears.
	
- Create a new record in the lower part of the window.
- In the Address ID field, enter an identity for the address.
- In the Default Address field, specify whether or not the address 
	is a default one.
- In the Address 1 - 7 fields, enter a suitable address descriptions 
	for the object.
- In the Contact field, enter the name of the contact person of the 
	object. 
- In the Phone No field, enter the phone number of the 
	contact person.
- In the Email field, enter the e-mail address of the contact 
	person.
- In the Location ID field, use list of values to enter a suitable 
	location. 
- Save the information (F12).
An entered address enables some options in the upper and lower part of the 
window. The following right-mouse options are available when a single record is 
selected in the overview table:
	- Set Address to Structure copies the address information for the selected 
	object to all underlying objects in the functional and serial structure.
- Set As Default Address enables you to switch to another default address.
- Set As Default to Structure enables you to set the selected 
	address as default address on all objects in the underlying structure. This 
	option is active when the current value for default address is Yes and when 
	the selected address exist on the child objects. A common procedure is to 
	first Set Address to Structure and then select Set As Default to 
	Structure.
- 
	Create Location for Address enables you to create a new location and 
	apply on the selected address line. This option is active when the address 
	line is not connected to a location.
The following right-mouse options are available in the window header:
	- Set Address to Structure copies all addresses on the current object to 
	all underlying objects in the structure.
- Remove Structure Address removes all addresses on objects in the 
	underlying structure that inherited from the parent object. This does not 
	removes any manually added addresses on the objects. There should be one 
	default address line and situations where default address is removing from
	Remove Structure Address, the very first address found on the child 
	object, sets as the default address.
The information provided for the fields Contact and Phone No 
will be fetch to the work order created for the object which the address is 
belong to. Prepare Work Order/CO Information/Contact Information field 
will be updated with the information defined in Address for Object 
window, if there is no manually entered details for this field. 
Note! Addresses could be automatically inherited from the parent 
object to the child object. This happens when the connection is made, first time 
and also when the object is moved to a new parent object.
