Enter Object Group
Explanation
This activity is used to enter information on an object group in IFS/Fixed Assets.
Object groups are used in queries and reports, and they
also hold default base values, depreciation methods, and books. Rotable
pool objects will use only depreciation methods based on acquisition value with depreciation not allowed below
depreciable basis, as the default values for the rotable pool book.
Prerequisites
Before information on the object group can be entered, the following must have been
completed:
  - The company must exist in IFS/Financials.
System Effects
As a result of this activity, the object group can be used when a new object is
entered. The object group then displays default values for the
object.
