Connect Repair Code to Part Discrepancy

Use this activity to define discrepancy code part and
connect repair code to part discrepancy.
Prerequisites
  - Discrepancy codes must be defined.
- Repair codes must be defined.
- Structures transferred from VIM or parts which are not in VIM can be used to work with.
- Inventory parts must exist.
System Effects
  - Parts are connected to discrepancy codes.
- Repair codes are connected to discrepancy code and discrepancy code parts.

Procedure
Follow these steps, in order to perform this activity:
  - Open the  Discrepancy Repair Code window.
- Populate or query for a discrepancy code.
- Go to the first table in this window (the
    table that consists of part information)
- Create a new record (F5) or select an existing record.
- Specify part number, site, and any notes.
- Save.
	Optionally you can connect a document text to the record:
	
		- Select the appropriate record, right-click
    and then click Document Text.
- The Document Texts for Part Discrepancy
    Code dialog box opens.
- Create a new record.
- Specify output type and any notes.
- Save and close the dialog.
  - Go to the second table in this window (the
    table that consist of repair code information).
- Create a new record (F5).
- Specify repair codes and any notes.
- Save.
	Optionally you can connect a document text to the disposition code:
	
		- Select the appropriate record, right-click
    and then click Document Text.
- The Document Texts for Disposition Code dialog box 
		opens.
- Create a new record.
- Specify output types and any notes.
- Save and close the dialog.
