Calculate Interim Demand Cost
Explanation
Use this activity to calculate the costs for a selected 
cost set of an interim demand header. 
Prerequisites
	- If the part is configurable, it must have a configuration attached.
- Cost sets must be defined for the site in the Costing Basic Data/Cost Set 
	tab. 
System Effects
	- Costs will be calculated for all the interim orders in the interim demand 
	header and can then be compared
against a shop order or any other interim order and so on.
- Costs can be seen in the 
	Interim
Order/Costs 
	tab, 
	Interim Demand 
	Header/Tree 
	Structure/Costs tab 
	and in the Interim Order Costs 
	window.

Procedure
  - Open the Interim Demand Header  
	window. 
- Query for the interim demand header for which you want to calculate costs. 
- Right-click anywhere in the header, then click Calculate Cost. 
	The Calculate Cost 
	dialog box is opened. 
- Enter the cost set for which the calculation should be performed in the Cost Set field. Use 
	the List to select a suitable value. 
- Click OK. 
- To set the
    costs for the configuration when the inventory value is defined as Cost per Configuration, right-click anywhere in the header, then click
	Save
    Standard Cost.
- Costs can be viewed in the 
	Interim
Order/Costs 
	tab, 
	Interim Demand 
	Header/Tree 
	Structure/Costs tab 
	and in the Interim Order Costs 
	window. 
Note: This activity can also be performed in the
Interim Demands 
window.
