Set a Maintenance Program Obsolete
Explanation
Use this activity to set an active maintenance program obsolete.
A maintenance program that becomes invalid can be set
to obsolete. When a maintenance program is obsolete it cannot be connected to a
serial. If a maintenance program has active serials connected to it when it
becomes obsolete, an error message will appear. You need to create a new
maintenance program for the active serials before the currently active
maintenance program can be set to obsolete.
Prerequisites
  - A maintenance program in the Active status must
    exist.
- An active serial cannot be connected to a
maintenance program that is set to the Obsolete status.
System Effects
  - The maintenance program will be set to obsolete.
- A journal entry will be created when a maintenance
program revision is set to obsolete.
