Create Shortage Report per Part

Explanation

This activity is used to create shortage reports per part. A shortage report can be generated to include manufactured and/or purchased parts, the site, the range of the commodity group and also the required planner. 

Prerequisites

• A commodity group must be defined for each part.
• The Shortage Notification check box on the Inventory Part/Misc Part Info tab must have been selected.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, a shortage report per part in a particular site will be created and printed.

Procedure

1. Open the Create Shortage Report per Part dialog box.
2. In the Selection area select the desired criteria in the desired site. You can use the List of Values to do so.
3. In the Show Parts area specify the desired part type(s)
4. Click Print to print the report.
