Enter Tiers for Bays

Explanation

This activity is used to enter the tiers to the current bay in your warehouse structure. It is also possible to see how the attributes are inherited from the warehouse structure and also to enter deviating attributes on the tiers.

Prerequisites

A warehouse with a bay must have been defined for the site.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, tiers with attributes are connected to the required warehouse structure.

Procedure

From the Warehouse Tiers window:

1. Open the Warehouse Tiers window.
2. Click New to create a new record.
3. Enter suitable values in the other appropriate fields.
4. Save the record.

From the Warehouse Navigator/Tiers tab:

1. Open the Warehouse Navigator window and populate or query for the relevant site.
2. The graphical structure of the warehouse will be displayed in the left side of the window.
3. Expand the warehouse node and select a bay.
4. The Tiers tab will be displayed.
5. Click the Tiers tab and create a new record.
6. Enter a suitable value in the Tier field and a description in the Description field.
7. Enter suitable values in the other appropriate fields.
8. Save the record.
