Define Rotable Pool
Explanation
Use this activity when you want to create a new
rotable part pool. The rotable pool can be defined as a company-owned or
customer-owned.
Prerequisites
  - The part must have been entered in the part catalog as a
    serial-tracked part.
- For a customer-owned rotable pool, the customer must
    have been entered in the 
	Customer window.
System Effects
As a result of this activity, a company-owned or
customer-owned rotable part pool is defined.

Procedure
  - Create a new record.
- In the Pool ID field, enter the pool ID. Both numbers and letters can be
    used for the identity. This is a required field.
- In the Pool Description field, enter a
    description for the pool. This is a required field.
- In the  Ownership field, select Company Owned
    for a company-owned rotable part pool or select Customer Owned for
    an externally--owned rotable part pool.
- If the rotable pool is customer-owned, in the Owner field, either
    manually enter the owner of the rotable part pool or select the owner using
    the List of Values.
- In the Part No field, enter the part number or
    use the List of Values to select the part number from available parts. This is a required field.
- Enter the default part availability control ID
    manually or by using the List of Values.
- Enter a value in the Target Pool Qty field.
    The value must be an integer number greater than zero (0). (The  Target Pool
    Qty field is a required field.)
- Save when complete.
