Configure Security Checkpoints for Shop Order

Explanation

Security checkpoints can be configured for the following activities of the shop orders:

• Issuing material to a shop order material line.
• Reporting labor time on a shop order operation.
• Reporting machine time on a shop order operation.
• Signing off inspection on a subtask.
• Signing off a subtask.

Prerequisites

Only a system administrator can access and configure the security checkpoints in the Security Checkpoints window.

System Effects

When the security checkpoint is active and turned on, the end user will be presented with an extra authentication dialog box at the checkpoint. Successful security checkpoints are logged and can be viewed in the Security Checkpoints Log window.

Procedure

1. Populate the Security Checkpoints window and search for any of the SHPORD_ISSUE_MATERIAL, SHPORD_REPORT_LABOR_TIME, SHPORD_REPORT_MACHINE_TIME, SHPORD_SUBTASK_INSPECT_SIGNOFF or SHPORD_SUBTASK_SIGNOFF security checkpoints.
2. Click the Active check box.
3. Save when complete.
