Define User Authorization for Fault Deferrals
Explanation
This activity is used to define the user authorization for fault deferrals by 
connecting the user to one or more product models. You can only approve the deferral of a vehicle or 
serial fault if you have access to the product model of the fault. A fault 
deferral needs to be approved before it can be set to active.
Prerequisites
  - The identification of the required user must 
	exist.
- Products and models must have been defined.
System Effects
As a result of this activity, it will be possible to approve fault deferrals.

Procedure
Use this procedure to assign a product model to the selected 
user ID.
	- Open the Operations and Fault Basic Data window 
	and click the 
	User Auth. Deferrals tab.
- In the User ID field, query (F3) for your 
	user ID. 
- Create a new record (F5) in the table.
- In the Product Number field, enter the 
	required product number. Use the List of Values to select a value.
- In the Model Number field, enter the 
	required model number. Use the List of Values to select a value.
- Save the record (F12).  
Use this procedure to assign all the models to the selected 
user ID.
	- Open the Operations and Fault Basic Data window 
	and click the 
	User Auth. Deferrals tab.
- In the User ID field, query (F3) for your 
	user ID.
- Right-click on the header of the tab and then click 
	Assign All Models.
- All the valid models will automatically be 
	assigned to the selected user.
