Add Standard Jobs to Job Program  
Explanation
Use this activity to connect standard jobs to a job program. Standard
jobs can be connected by using one of the following methods: 
  - Connect a single standard job at a time.
- Connect standard jobs based on the categories to
    which they are
    connected. The categories are: Object Category, Object Type, Type Designation, and Part
    Number. 
You can connect both separate and route standard jobs
to a job program. A single standard job can be connected to many job programs. 
Prerequisites
  - Separate and route standard jobs must have been defined
    in IFS/Preventive Maintenance.
- The standard jobs defined should be active and
    valid.
- The job program should be in the Preliminary status. 
System Effects
Standard jobs will be connected to the job program.

Add Standard Jobs by Category
Procedure
Connecting one standard job at a time:
  - Open the 
	Job Program window, and create
    a new job program (F5) or query for an existing one (F3).
- Create a new record in the table.  
- Enter the standard job ID and revision in the
    relevant fields. Repeat steps 2 and 3 as often as required.
- Save the information (F12).
Connecting standard jobs based on the categories:
  - Open the 
	Job Program window, and create
    a new job program (F5) or query for an existing one (F3).
- Right-click on the table and then click Add Std Jobs
    by Category. The Add Standard Jobs by Category dialog box opens.
- Enter values in one or more of the following fields:
    Object Category, Object Type, Type Designation,  and Part
    No. Click List to select appropriate values.
- Click Search. The results will be displayed in
    the table below.
- From the available list, select the standard jobs
    you want to add to the job program by selecting the Select check box.
- Once the selection has been made, click Return.
