Elimination of PM Plan Lines
Explanation

Elimination percentage is used to eliminate maintenance plan lines that
are planned to fall due at approximately the same period in time when several PM
triggering mechanisms are used, such as a calendar trigger and a condition based
trigger. For example, if the PM falls due based on a condition based trigger
today, it is not necessary to generate a work order for a calendar that falls
due tomorrow. In other words, the percentage denotes at which maintenance yield
a maintenance plan line should be eliminated when another PM trigger will fall
due first. Elimination percentage can have a value between 50 and 100.
Lower elimination percentage means there is more chance of elimination of the
maintenance lines with close planned dates. On the other hand higher elimination
value means low chance of elimination of maintenance lines. Irrespective of the
calculated elimination value of the maintenance line/s, latter maintenance line/s are
eliminated if falling on the same planned date.
Prerequisites
At least two different maintenance plans generated from two different
conditions or calendar and condition should be there.
System Effects
As a result of this activity maintenance lines having an elimination value
higher than the one defined in General tab, Elimination At(%) field  will

- In the Start Unit field, select the unit of
measure for the value entered in the Start Value field.

- In the Interval field, enter the time interval,

For Condition based generation:
  - Zoom the connected object and create a test point and accumulated type
	parameter there.
- In the Condition tab, register a condition
using the test point and parameter created in the above step with suitable
