Select Job Program and Object

Explanation

Use this activity to select a job program and the object to which the job program is added.

Sites must have been defined in IFS/General Data for Inventory and Distribution.
The equipment object must have been defined in IFS/Equipment or the linear asset object must have been defined in IFS/Linear Asset.
Job programs must have been defined, and the status set to Active in IFS/Preventive Maintenance, Job Program.

If the job program contains standard jobs, they will be displayed in the upper table of the relevant tabs.
If the object contains PM actions in the Preliminary or Active status, they will be displayed in the lower tables of the relevant tabs.
The Program Used on Object check box will be selected if the particular job program has already been added to the object. However, this does not prevent you from adding the same job program to the same object more than once. Use one of the following methods to select the job program and object.

Open the Add Job Program to Object window, and enter an appropriate site. Enter the job program ID in the Job Program ID field and the object in the Object ID field. Use the List of Values.
Open the Job Program window and query for the relevant job program. Right-click on the header of the window and then click Add Job Program to Object. The Add Job Program to Object window opens. The job program ID and the site will be automatically retrieved. Specify the object ID in the Object ID field by using the List of Values
Open the PM for Object Structure window and query for an object. Click the PM Action tab. Select an object from the object structure, right-click and then click Add Job Programs to Object. The Add Job Program to Object window opens. The object ID will be automatically retrieved along with the site. Specify the job program ID in the Job Program ID field by using the List of Values.
