Simulate PM Actions
Explanation
Use this activity to simulate the PM actions before
generating them for a selected object. By simulating the PM actions, you can inspect 
and adjust the PM actions before they are generated, thereby ensuring that you have the correct combination of PM actions for the standard jobs. 
Prerequisites
  - A job program and object must have been selected in the
    window.
- Defaults values
 and settings must have been defined in the
    window.
- Separate and route standard jobs must have been entered on the 
	Separate and/or 
	Route tabs 
	of the Add Job Programs to Object window. 
System Effects
  - A PM action will be simulated for each standard job.
    The simulated PM action will receive a six digit number starting from 000001.
- If the Merge on PM check box is selected, a
    single PM action will be simulated for similar standard jobs. For more
    information on how standard jobs are grouped, please refer to the following
    online help document: Add Job Program to Object.

Procedure
  - Open the  
	Add Job Program to Object window,
    select a job program and an object, and define defaults values
 and settings.
- Select the Merge on PM check box if you want
    to group similar standard jobs in to one PM action.
- Add separate and route standard jobs.
- Click Simulate. 
- Repeat steps 3 and 4 as required to get the results
    you want.
