Perform MRP Network Report

Explanation

Use this activity to order a printout of the MRP results. The report contains the system-generated proposals from the planning methods. If you do not want to enter a specific selection criterion for the planning network, site, planner, or part number, enter the percent sign (%). All output from the MRP sites, planners, or part numbers will be displayed.

Prerequisites

The material requirements calculation must have been performed.

As a result of this activity, the system creates an MRP report.

Procedure

  1. Open the Perform MRP Network Report window.
  2. In the Planning Network field, enter the network for which you want to perform the MRP network report. Click the List button to select from the available planning networks. If you leave the field blank, MRP network report is run for all the planning networks to which you have access.
  3. In the Planner field, enter a specific planner code for printouts. If you want to process all planners enter the percent sign (%) , or leave the field blank.
  4. In the Commodity Group 2 field, enter a specific commodity group code for printouts. If you want to process all commodity groups, leave the field blank.
  5. Enter the specific part number for which you want to take printouts, in the Part No field. To process all the parts, enter the percent sign (%) or leave the field blank.
  6. Select the appropriate part type from the list.
  7. If you want to include the created orders, select Yes in the Show Orders Created filed.
  8. If you want to include the changed orders in the report, select Yes in the Show Orders Changed filed. 
  9. If you do not want to create messages for phantom part dependant demand, you can select the Don't create messages for phantom part dependant demand check box.
  10. To execute the perform MRP network report, click OK.
