Release Work Order
Explanation
This activity is used to change the status of a work order to
Released.
Prerequisites
Before the status can be changed, the following must have been
completed:
  - The current work order must have been prepared and retrieved in the window.
    The status of the work order is normally Prepared. 
System Effects
	- The work order
status is changed to Released. Material required for a work
order can be issued.
- If the work order has been tendered upon 
	using the business-to-business contracting work flow and a contractor has 
	been approved for the work order, the work order will be available on the 
	business-to-business interface of the contractor as soon as the work order 
	is released.
- Operations on the work order can be started.
- If the Operations Follow Work Order Status 
	check box is selected, all operations on the work order will be set to the
	Released status.
- A journal entry is created for this event. Journal entries are generated in the Journal tab found in the
	Prepare Work Order and Report In Work Order 
	windows.

Procedure
Use the following procedure to change the status:
  - Open the 
	Prepare Work Order
    window. Right-click, point to Work Order Status and click Released.
- If tools and/or facilities have been entered in the Tools 
	and Facilities tab, the Enter Tools/Facilities 
	Data for Work Order dialog box is opened. Select a site and a maintenance
    organization, click List to select suitable values.
	
- Click OK.
